The Hybrid Housing scheme was design to seek opportunity in Ultimo to change the current cultural environment, and enliven the streets of Ultimo. The scheme was designed to provide a contemporary housing for a contemporary city, it is design to initiate a program not just service students, but also to visitors the interested to local Australian’s lifestyle. The project was located at a under utilise park at the centre of Ultimo, where it has access to the Powerhouse Museum and to UTS campus. This have offers an opportunity to redesign the site, to incorporate an accommodation program to increase the efficiency of the site.
